The base 2021 Honda Civic LX sedan starts at 22,005, an increase of 250 compared to the previous yearalbeit with the previously optional CVT included. Paying homage to past Limited Edition models, the 2021 Limited Edition comes with additional model-exclusive treatments such as contrasting gloss black paint on the roof, outside mirror caps and intake vent on the hood, along with a dark chrome Civic badge on the rear hatch. The hatchback offers more cargo capacity, but likewise there's less space. Only 100 units, all in Phoenix Yellow and each with an individually numbered serial plate, were being offered in Canada. The extra grip translated directly to a faster lap time in the figure-eight test of 24.1 seconds at 0.81 average g, compared to 24.3 seconds at 0.79 average g for the regular car. Trunk capacity in the 2022 Civic sedan is slightly less than before it offers 14.8 cubic fee, and the 2021 car had 15.1. The lighter, faster 2021 Type R Limited Edition features all of the 2020 model year Type R updates, plus additional enhancements designed to make it even more ferocious. Honda calls it “the ultimate street-legal track-focused variant” of its formidable Civic Type R.
